At Holston Baptist Church, we come together to worship the Lord, stand on the truth of His Word, and encourage one another as we live out our faith each day.
Our Vision
Our vision at Holston Baptist Church is simple and clear: to be a strong, Christ-centered church that faithfully proclaims the Gospel and makes a lasting difference for the Kingdom. We desire to see lives changed by the saving power of Jesus, families strengthened by His Word, and our community reached with truth and love.
We strive to be a church where people are welcomed, discipled, and encouraged to grow in their faith. Through biblical preaching, intentional discipleship, and compassionate outreach, our prayer is to raise up generations who will follow Christ wholeheartedly and boldly share Him with the world.
Our Beginning
Holston Baptist Church has faithfully served the Strawberry Plains community for generations, standing firmly on the truth of God’s Word. What started as a small group with a heart for sharing the Gospel has grown into a church family committed to worshiping the Lord, reaching the lost, and strengthening families through biblical teaching.
God’s Faithfulness
Through every season—times of growth, difficulty, and new beginnings—the Lord has been faithful to us. He has raised up faithful pastors and leaders, strengthened our ministries, and given us opportunities to reach beyond our church walls with the Gospel. Every answered prayer and every changed life reminds us that our God is true to His Word. Because of His faithfulness in the past, we stand firm today—trusting Him to lead us as we continue the work He has called us to do.
Looking Ahead
Today, Holston Baptist Church is a growing, Christ-centered family where people of all ages come together to worship, study God’s Word, and serve others. We celebrate what the Lord is doing in our church now, while trusting Him for all He has planned for the future. Each new day brings opportunities to reach our community, strengthen families, and share the Gospel both near and far. With Christ as our foundation, we move forward with faith, trusting Him to lead and multiply the impact of His work through us.
